October 28, 2008

The newest edition of the popular KISS-themed podcast entitled "PodKISSt" has been released. It is a KISS Coffeehouse-themed show that features an exclusive interview with current KISS guitar player Tommy Thayer!

Check it out at www.mykisslife.net/podkisst.

KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer performed the band's hit song "Forever" with singer Todd Cage from Columbia, South Carolina at the Kiss Coffeehouse's second-anniversary party, which was held on September 6, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Watch video footage of Thayer and Cage practicing the track at the Kiss Coffeehouse below. Also available is a clip of the actual performance.

Cage beat out more than 600 contestants to win the "Sing With Kiss" contest. First runner-up was Adrienne Asterita from New York City and second runner-up was Patrick Harr from Tennessee.

According to a posting on KISS' official web site, over a thousand KISS fans from as far away as Japan, Canada and all over the U.S. attended the Kiss Coffeehouse's second-anniversary party. Thayer made a special guest appearance at the event, signing autographs and posing for photos for over three hours. "Tommy really seemed to be having a great time meeting his fans and signed multiple autographs for all who asked!" reads a posting on the site.

The Kiss Coffeehouse opened to huge crowds in the summer of 2006 and features signature KISS coffees, including Kiss Army Blend and French Kiss Vanilla, the Kiss Frozen Rockuccino, cookies, brownies and other sinful sweets.
